Wow… haven’t actually updated my tumblr in ages!  Now in Turkey though this came to mind and I just felt like leaving a little rant. Last night at around 3am I heard 6 police & ambulance sirens pass my hotel as I was trying to sleep. I was very much wondering what this was, but couldn’t find out till the next morning. Two men were attacked, one beaten to death and the other in desperate need of medical attention, and for what? PUBLIC DISPLAY OF AFFECTION BY HOMOSEXUALS. It disgusts me and makes me sad to see that in some parts of the world actual acceptance hasn’t quite begun.
